Cristian de la Fuente Recuperating From Surgery
Cristian de la Fuente, who tore a tendon in his arm on “Dancing with the Stars,” will soon be ready to hit the dance floor once again. That is if he wants to.
A couple of weeks ago he had surgery to repair the injury and afterward was interviewed for a USA Today article by William Keck. In it Cristian joked about his scar:
“It’s sad that my only surgical scar is related to dancing,” he jokes. “I can’t tell my grandchildren it’s from when I went to war or because I fought in a bar.”
Cristian can recover while watching his new USA Cable series “In Plain Sight.” The show, which premiered on Sunday, stars Mary McCormack. Cristian plays her boyfriend.
According to the USA Today article, Cristian is maintaining his sense of humor while being nursed by his wife of six years Angelica Castro and three year old daughter, Laura:
“Laura knows Daddy has a problem in the left arm, so she kisses it. Every time she’s in pain, I give her Daddy’s magic kiss to make the pain go away, so the other day she inherited the magic kiss.”
Awwww. Here’s hoping we get to see Cristian on the dance floor again very soon.
