“Lost” Fans Need To Just Chill

Simon Reynolds wrote an article the other day at Digital Spy about how Damon Lindelof, one of the showrunners of “Lost” thinks fans of the show can be a bit over the top. The article said, among other things:

Lost showrunner Damon Lindelof has admitted that fans of the show don’t give it the credit it deserves.

“We find that the boards can be really toxic,” Lindelof said. “Nobody goes on the boards to say: ‘Wow! That was awesome!’ Traditionally, they go on the boards to nitpick…”

As a huge fan of “Lost” I have to agree with Lindelof. I mean I love sitting around with my friends talking over plot points and stuff about the show, but if you love the show, you love the show.

If you love the show, you don’t need to be ripping it apart on every message board on the internet. The show is one of the best that’s ever been on television and fans should focus a bit more on what the writers and the showrunners get right.
