“Robin Hood” Returns To BBC America
If you like your action and adventure the old fashioned way, then tune in to BBC America tomorrow night at 9 PM for the premiere of the second season of “Robin Hood.”
This fast paced series about Robin of Loxley and his merry men never takes itself too seriously, and in Jonas Armstrong, gives us a Robin Hood that’s a true charmer.
Last season, we watched as Robin was unjustly deprived of his lands and position by the evil Sheriff of Nottingham. In response he disappeared into the depths of Sherwood Forest, coming out only to steal from the rich and give to the poor. He becomes a legend among the English masses as they await the return of Richard the Lionhearted.
If you’re wondering about Maid Marion, she too is here. By day she’s a demure young maiden with a soft spot for Robin, but by night, she’s a masked crusader of the people.
This season promises even more daredeviltry, romance and political intrigue.
