The DVR is quite possibly the best invention in the world. Even better than white bread. When I go to sleep at night, and say my prayers, I thank God that he has blessed me with a DVR. Okay, so I don’t really do that since I never say a prayer, being an atheist and all. But it is true about the DVR, it makes me happy when skies are grey.
I have about 1 million shows that are currently saved on my DVR, and Thursday night happened to be one of the occasions when I decided to catch some of the shows. On the top of my list? Gossip Girl! Thankfully, there were 3 episodes on there. The show is the best, and makes me want to turn back time and become a teenager on the upper East Side. Pretty much it’s so I can be in the middle of a Nate and Chuck sandwich.
Here’s the thing with the latest few episodes:
Oh, and bt dubs, I don’t believe for one single second the romance that’s going on between Jenny and Nate on Gossip Girl. No freaking way. How can he go from Serena and Blair to freaking little J? Ugh, that makes me so angry!!
Dear writers of GG, stop the shenanigans immediately if not sooner!!

I feel the need to warn you of something that quite possibly could happen… I too adore and admire my DVR. One rainy day, 6 weeks ago, when the DVR was announcing to me that it was 96% full, I decided to hunker down and have a view fest.
You cannot imagine the pain and trauma I went through when the DVR shut off, packed up, and totally stopped working. I called the cable place where they did test thingies and sent a man over and ……..alas, we lost everything. All the shows, movies, gone. Finito. Caput. I’m still in recovery.
We now try to keep up with the shows - its been hard to overcome our grief and learn to trust again.
You have my condolences. That must have been a very hard thing to go through. Did you have to seek counselling? -CS

I’ve only seen a couple episodes because the show is completely ridiculous and I really can’t handle more than that, but god damn is Chace Crawford a good looking boy.
Ridiculous shows are the best. Especially when Chace Crawford is in them. Just grab yourself a drink, and watch the show. Really. It’s fabulous. -CS
