We all tend to make assumptions about others. Sometimes we automatically assume that a certain individual can serve as a spokesperson for his/her sex, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, etc.
Like, “Hey, he’s a guy, he can totally tell me what all men would think of this outfit.”
