I don’t know, part of me feels like it’s cruel to Diss a sister that’s got herself out in front.  I mean, let’s face it, men NEVER receive the sort of scrutiny that women do, especially in politics.

On the other hand, if you’ve whole-heartedly thrown yourself to the wolves, then you have to expect to get bit every now and then…so, on that note, I’m gonna take a big bad bite out of our Palin celeb girl…

I began to explore her position on foreign policy a little closer, after-all, as someone who may be a presidential candidate in 4 years, we ought to familiarize ourselves with her credentials.  I searched and searched the world over, and here’s what our gal-pal Sarah has to say….

My four-legged darlings woke me at 5:30 this morning.  I know it’s not going to be a particularly joyful day when things get rolling that early and I don’t have my beauty sleep.  However, it prompted me to think about what was happening in the world, and I’m not sure, but I think I’ve come up with a way to make everyone

happy about the auto industry needing $25 Billion of taxpayers dollars.  Yes, more handouts to flailing, behind-the-times, greedy corporations and their executives who have done nothing over the last decade but find better ways to drive their respective companies into the ground while they cash their gynormous bonus checks at the local bank….

Wow that was a tangent.  At any rate, the Ford Motors and GM CEOs testified before the Senate Banking committee (I call it BEGGING) and outlined all the reasons why they MUST have money to help bail them out.  The UAW went right along with them too.  It was a genuine circus and one we didn’t want to miss.  Grown men graveling for money after ruining their companies…hmmm.  Neither of them offered to give up their salaries and ’special prizes’ worth between $14-$22 million last year (those pretty pennies were taken AFTER their companies LOST over $2 billion each - ouch).  I want to be an ineffective CEO making $14++ million!!

Okay let’s get back to my suggestion.  Ford now asserts that if they go under, almost 75,000 employees could loose their jobs.  Fascinating! Now, let’s assume that the other 2 whining automakers also have 75,000 employees that could loose their jobs.

If this scenario were to play out. 225,000 people could be out if work.  WOW!

My proposal?  Use the $25 Billion to give each and every one of them $50,000 a year in unemployment benefits and save ourselves $12.5 Billion in taxpayer money.  I LIKE this because the losers in Detroit are forced to reckon with their poor management decisions.  The unions are forced to stop their bullying tactics that cost us far too many U.S. jobs because no one can afford their demands, and the workers no longer have to pay for management’s screw-ups.   And, finally, WE don’t have to pay out the nose once again for someone’s mistakes.  Write your local Congressman and tell him you’re sick of paying for losers.

BILLION dollar, carte blanche, no strings attached, 5% loan to help bail them out.  Every other car manufacturer, including BMW and Toyota, manufacturing their cars in the U,S, are okay - so what does that tell you?  These big fat old car makers, burdened by greedy labor unions, DON”T know how to make money - and yet, the government continues to throw our good money after BAD!

These politicians are the same people we’re relying upon to fix the economy!!

Congressmen and women - YOU’VE been in your jobs far too long and there has GOT to be term limits in place for these old-time politicians who are completely out of touch with taxpayers and corporate America.

Fasten your seatbelts ladies, it’s gonna be a bumpy ride to economic wellbeing if we don’t stop these self-serving morons!

Yesterday he stood before the press and financial market executives and proclaimed “that the global financial crisis is “not a failure of the free market”. Is he kidding me?  Let’s take this apart….

Virtually every single economic expert has agreed that the financial free-fall was a direct result of the greed and lack of oversight within the financial markets - THAT’S Bush’s version of the ‘free market”: a place where the wealthy got to take advantage of the poor and all those naive individuals who invested their hard-earned money into mutual funds, 401Ks, homes, and the stock market; only to find out that the ‘free market’ turned around, and

borrowed 30-to-1 (that means, for every dollar YOU gave them, they borrowed $30!!! against it) and then loaned that money to some of the worst debtors in the world!

WHY did they do this??? GREED - they thought they’d make a bundle somewhere along this slippery path.  And now Bush, even in his final failed days, is insisting his bush-o-nomics worked.  OMG.  This man needs to go back to his fairytale forest…

WOW! The mormon church reportedly donated $20 million to support proposition 8 in California.  Now I’m not going to respond any further about Prop 8 but I AM going to have a fit over the cowards in government that have not raised an eyebrow over the intrusion of church and state ONCE AGAIN nor taken steps to question or remove their tax exempt status!!!

running our government handing out our tax dollars to the greedy bastards who created this economic crisis…YET, no one is bailing me or you out.

The car companies have had decades of Presidents, politicians and people like you and me reminding them that THERE’S AN OIL CRISIS stupid, and we have to stop our dependence upon it.  And, one of the biggest culprits are CARS!!!

So WHY, with all this information and the thousands of brilliant men and women creating their next line-up of hot, new autos, did they continue to build big fat obnoxious trucks that guzzled more gas than any  country could possibly accomodate?  Why aren’t there a slew of hybrids rolling off the assembly lines now?  There’s only one (ok, two) answers…GREED and STUPIDITY by the arrogant management of each of these companies!  …and yes, probably a little colluding with the oil industry as well….

And, now that the end is near, here’s what one auto industry exec had to say…“With sales plummeting, General Motors said Tuesday that it would stop making pickup trucks and sport utility vehicles at four of its North American plants. (note to self…WHAT? NOW they decide to stop production of pickups??)

The company is also considering selling its Hummer brand, an icon of the megavehicle. Rick Wagoner, the GM chairman, explained the moves by saying that he thought the shift toward more efficient cars was “by and large, permanent.” (note to self. again..DAHHHH, permanent? DAHHH - WAKE-UP!)

waaaaaaaa, they’re a bunch of crying babies and a LITTLE LATE TO THE GAME! Give me a break!  Get rid of the management within each of these companies, take away their bonuses and golden parachutes, and please STOP making American citizens PAY for the mistakes of Wall Street and BIG BUSINESS!! I’ve had enough!

I think I’ve seen it all now.  Monks Gone Wild - men in pretty robes (I think they’re cross-dressers) pretending to be peaceful souls - or so we THOUGHT!

Now it seems their testosterone has gone awry and, with the emotional intelligence of 5 year old boys, tried to solve their territorial riff over a supposed Jesus tomb by fighting with sticks, stones and fists. Have they lost their minds?

It just goes to show, you can put ‘em in a pretty dress (robe), call them servants of someone’s “GOD”, but at the end of the day, they’re still human beings, capable of just about anything outlandish.

I agree it stinks - it’s not fair. Gay or straight, we should all have the right to legalize a union; though I have to admit, I can’t for the life of me understand why anyone gay would want to emmulate anything hetero that has an enormous failure rate. I think we should stay out of churches hoping for Godly acceptance of our partnerships, and instead head to court and insist we obtain equal legal rights. Marriage, churches and their failed religious ceremony won’t accomplish this, the law will.

King of the hill was just cancelled by FOX, and Sarah was cancelled by people like you and me. What a shame. Two oddly funny personalities suddenly dropped from the radar.

ABC may pick up King of the Hill, give it a new home and rename it “The Goode Family”…and who knows, in 4 years Sarah may also have a new home if we’re not on top of this….it’s called “The White House”
