[...] Most of us have had those outrageous phone calls with customer service representatives. Their calm and (at times) condescending tones tend to have a way to rub us the wrong way. It helps to know that we’re not alone. Read Twolia’s Getting to First Base to hear Minda’s latest account of her own recent, hilarious customer service story, in Customer “service”….mlb.com. [...]

Very well written!! Never question your love of sports because all games provide us with so much! They create community and a common lauagage as seen during the Olympics. Great athletes are a symbol of hard work, focus, drive, courage, and much more. I think it's great to watch a game of any kind knowing how hard the team worked as individuals and as a group to get where they are...a gold medal stands for all of this. It also stands for hope and a dream which should inspire us all to do our best every day!

Great job with the blog!

I cannot believe anyone, least of all the IOC, would believe the Chinese promises to change their miserable record on human rights. Promise anything, spend lots of money, force people to move, close businesses down, etc. and then do what you've always done. I suspect there will be more incidents/examples which will only serve to show the world why the IOC should never have awarded the Olympics to Beijing.

That sounds pretty cool actually! Too bad they weren't wearing throwback uni's. I'm sure it was very pleasant without all the noise that accompanies games today with all the loud music & videos that people need to keep them entertained. Hopefully a few more people fell in love with baseball Saturday.
