The 2008 Prime
time Emmy Amaerds just kicked off - no comment on the opening skit. I mean Heidi Klum should not have OKed that whole ripping of clothing bit. But I digress. The real show already happened on the Red Carpet. On the jewelry front, Fred Leighton dazzled on many of Hollywood’s A-list starts including:
Ugly Betty’s America Ferrera dazzled in a 19th Century diamond flower necklace, in silver on gold; 2.50 carat old mine cut diamond drop earrings, in silver on gold; a 19th Century diamond line bracelet, in silver on gold; and finally a rose-cut diamond cluster bracelet, in silver on gold. WOW!!
Kyra Sedgwick ROCKED in 1930’s diamond pyramid earrings set in platinum; an emerald-cut diamond pinkie ring also set in platinum; a black enamel and gold ring; and a 24.50 carat cushion-cut Alexandrite and diamond ring.
Debra Messing, who starts season two of The Starter Wife in mid October, shined in old-mine 
diamond fan pendant earrings with approximately 25 carats of diamonds and a 10.5 carat rose-cut diamond platinum ring.
Hero’s hotty, Hayden Panettiere looked magical in diamond drop earrings; a 1920’s diamond bracelet set in platinum; a 1920’s onyx and diamond and platinum bracelet; a 1920’s sapphire and diamond bracelet; a 1930’s sapphire line bracelet, in platinum
Finally, Lipstick Jungle’s Brooke Shields looked classy in old mine-cut diamond leaf and vine earrings; a 19th Century diamond bow brooch; and a cabochon amethyst and diamond ring.
