Mary Norton Bags at the 80th Academy Awards

Dear Wow Divas,

Please excuse my neglect for the past week. Aside from being in Vegas to attend the World Shoe Accessories Show (the largest accessories trade show in the world), I’ve also been dealing with some wrist pains due to an old seeking accident. Mary Norton – learn the name and love it. Mary Norton is not a new brand. She was the designer behind Moo Roo handbags – you know those fabulous feathered evening bags that everyone wore on the Red Carpet. Oh course you do! Well, now she has her namesake line – Mary Norton – and once again her bedazzling creations are on the Red Carpet. I actually had a lovely time with Mary in Vegas – we did a little gambling after I came to view her amazing new bags and shoes from the fall/winter 2008/2009 season. Sarah Polley, nominated in the Best Director category for Away From Her, accessorized her navy gown with Mary Norton’s WALES, a brushed silver oval shaped minaudière with Swarovski crystal décor.  Miley Cyrus looked smashing at her Academy Awards debut thanks to BIJOUX – a bronze laminated lizard box clutch encrusted with emerald, trillion and cushion cut Swarovski crystals, designed especially for the

Mary Norton’s handbags and footwear are handcrafted by the finest artisans in Italy and only produced in small quantities, resulting in timeless heirloom-quality accessories that are built to last.  Mary Norton is sold in Saks and Harrods, as well as many high-end boutiques. Plus if you live in Los Angeles, California or Charleston, South Carolina (where Mary lives and has her design studio) you can buy your accessories from the Mary Norton boutique.

Have a bag-a-licious day!
