I know I have already featured a bracelet this week, but when I saw these cuffs at Bloomingdale’s:
I just had to share. The perfect piece to dress up anything, these cuff bracelets will never go out of style. I can envision this bracelet working just as well with a nice evening dress as I can see them pairing with a simple sweater and jeans. This bracelet will make a fantastic gift for anyone on your list!

Perfect with trousers, these shoes are fairly seasonless, so I feel you can wear these well into warmer temperatures with the right attire. They will also be perfect paired with a slim pencil skirt.
I am all about the gray shoe this season, especially in patent leather. Perhaps these will tide me over until I can save my pennies for the perfect pair of gray boots I’ve been lusting after at J. Crew. Or hopefully, they will make me forget about those boots entirely. Here’s to dreaming…
Bongo Thora Pump at Endless.com (home of free overnight shipping and returns!), $27.47. Available in sizes 6-10, in gray and black patent.

There’s no other way to describe the Emerson blouse at J. Crew:
I have this blouse in plum, and I have been doing my best to resist buying it in dark fog as well. I recently wore this top to dinner with a pair of jeans and my favorite patent pumps, but this blouse is versatile enough to work for the office as well. Even under a suit! The neck tie is what makes it unique, and feminine. I love a classic shape with a feminine touch, and J. Crew does this look so very well. And bonus! This top is an extra 30% off until midnight on Wednesday!
Emerson Blouse at J. Crew, $39.99 (with additional 30% with code EXTRA30 at checkout). Available in sizes 0-14, in colors, dark fog, plum, or ivory.

While I won’t go so far as to say one must coordinate their make-up with their wardrobe, I do suggest keeping in mind the color scheme of your outfit when applying a color scheme to your face. I.e., I beg of you not to wear a bright pink sweater and smoky purple eyes lest you look like one still prancing about in your 80’s girl Halloween costume, ala Jem.
That’s why I love this eye pencil set from Sephora:
With a color to match any eyeshadow color scheme, there is simply no excuse not to be mindful of coordinating your eyes with your clothing. And fret not, those of you who gasped “BUT GLITTER!” upon reading the product description. A shimmery eye pencil can be done, even for day, if applied with a light hand. If only someone had told Jem, perhaps she would still be en vogue.
Sephora Brand Electro Glitter Eye Pencil Set, $24.00. Works smashingly with this fanastic Sephora palette, $26.00.
Bargain Finds Week Begins!

Holiday shopping is officially in full swing now that Black Friday has come and gone. With the economy in the state that it is, we could all benefit from some serious bargain shopping. To that end, this week I will be focusing on bargain buys. I will be featuring fabulous fashions and accessories for less than $30.00.
This year, two female co-workers and myself have decided to exchange gifts with one another, with a price limit of $25.00. While perusing Gap.com, I found the perfect gift for both of them:
Jewelry is an excellent choice for that difficult-to-buy-for person on your gift list. No need to figure out their size, as jewelry fits anyone! This bracelet is classic enough for your most conservative dresser, but flashy enough for the more adventurous lady on your list. I am partial to the color combination shown above, but it is also available with silver beads. Consequently, this bracelet will work as a gift for friends who wear either silver or gold jewelry. At, $14.50, this bracelet is an amazing bargain.

Marc by Marc on Sale

Marc by Marc Jacobs is one of my absolute favorite brands. But it is quite pricey, so nearly every single piece I own by this brand was purchased at a clearance sale. For example, this one I found today at Net-a-Porter:
I am all about bright colors this season, and I think we can all agree this top has bright colors covered! I love the neck detail and the abbreviated cap sleeve. I love the dynamic print. I also love that this top is essentially seasonless. In the fall, it can be paired with a black jacket (I have a perfect leather one I picked up at Target in mind) and jeans. In the summer, pair it with black capris and sandals.
The other thing to take note here- this top is from Net-A-Porter, a mega-high end online retailer. Don’t count such stores out, even if you are on a budget. They have fantastic sales on designer items year round, and the mark-downs cannot be beat during major sale times like Thanksgiving!

Okay, not really. But wow, are there some crazy sales going on at some of my favorite stores. I woke up this morning to an inbox full of sale emails! Do you use Shop It To Me? You should! Because if you did, you would know about the amazing sale going on at Shoes.com right now. So many great deals to be had, like for instance these fabulous BCBG pumps:
These are the perfect thing to pump (pun intended) a bit of your own style into a boring suit. As a lawyer, I am often forced into conservative dress for court appearances. I view shoes as a safe way to keep true to my taste while dressing in a manner fitting of the occasion.
Of course, these shoes are also hot enough to wear with a little black dress, jeans, or really just about anything!
BCBG Paris Okapy Pump at Shoes.com, $25.00! Available in sizes 7-10, including half sizes.
Everyone Else Will Be Green With Envy.

I love dresses OH SO MUCH. For the past two or three years, the vast majority of my clothing purchases have been dresses. Casual dresses, summer dresses, work dresses, sweater dresses, cocktail dresses, shirt dresses. Name a genre of dress, and I have something from that category.
What do I love about dresses? Well, everything. But more specifically, name a figure flaw, and there is a dress that will cure it. Dresses are great because they are one piece you put on and you are done. Dresses can be dressed up, dresses can be dressed down. Dresses are a great way to be feminine without being girly.
Dresses can also be just plain fabulous:
This is a dress that will look good on ANY shape, ANY size, I promise you. The cinched and belted waist is figure flattering for almost anyone. The length is also perfect for the office- just above the knee. For daytime, I would pair this with tights and heeled mary-janes in the winter. I would sport bare legs with black pumps for warmer weather. It is seasonless. With the right accessories, this dress is even perfect for the office Christmas party.
London Times Belted Ponte Dress at Overstock.com (YES! OVERSTOCK.COM!), $50.00. Available in sizes 4-14.

It seems that everywhere I look, large necklaces are all the rage. I see them in fashion magazines, on fashion blogs, on my favorite shopping sites. . . everywhere! And no wonder, bib necklaces are the perfect thing to add something unique to a simple top, or make a day look perfect for an evening out. I personally own a large necklace I bought on clearance at J. Crew this summer, and every time I wear it, I receive a ton of compliments. I also just feel extra put together!
To that end, this necklace from Anthropologie has earned a spot on my Christmas list:
How gorgeous is this? I love the fact that these transparent slices are on a prep-tastic grosgrain ribbon. This necklace is slightly edgy without being wacky. It’s the perfect thing to turn your work wear into party wear. I would pair this necklace with a simple button down shirt, or perhaps a nice merino crewneck or v-neck sweater. But no matter where I wear it, or with what, my guess is this piece will garner much attention!
Stained Glass Necklace at Anthropologie, $42.00. Available in Green, Grey, Purple, or Yellow.
The Perfect Little Coat

As someone who is perpetually cold, I love jackets that you can continue to wear indoors without people giving you funny looks. This jacket from J.Crew is one of my favorite recent purchases, as it allows me to stay toasty and warm indoors without looking silly. Here is another fabulous find that doesn’t look overwhelmingly like something that can only be worn outdoors:
I love the asymetrical collar, which is similar to a full length coat I purchased this season at H&M. The button tabs on the sides will prevent you from losing your shape in the jacket. This will look great paired with anything from jeans to dress pants. I believe I could even get away with it with a pair of black slacks to create a suit look for the courtroom. At only $68.00, this jacket will be tough to resist.
Ambition Double Breasted Boucle Coat at Nordstrom, $68.00. Available in sizes S-XL. In colors plum, charcoal, or red.
