Laura’s ‘Must buy’ for Jan!

I have just purchased these sexy skinny fit trousers from the wonderful www.asos.com at the bargain price of £11 in the sale, and let me tell you ladies, it’s probably the best £11 i have ever spent!

I know that they probably don’t look it but they are sooo comfortable, they are made from a really soft stretchy material, but are also really thick unlike most trousers budget trousers that are usually made of that horrible cheap polyester with all the thickness of a piece of paper which i always worry will show the cellulite on my bum as i walk, but with these babies i can wiggle my bum with pride!

The other great thing about them is that you can wear them like leggings with knee length boots over the top (as i am wearing right now) because they are so tight fitted around the legs.

The wonderful Stella MacCartney has a great SS09 collection as always, these nautical platforms are spot on for summer as the Nautical trend will continue to be big news as will platforms!

I also love her lingerie collection, very feminine and dainty.

These gorgeously smart platform court shoes by one of my favourite designers, Alexander McQueen have been reduced from £350 to £245 in the Browns sale.

Now i know that this is still a lot of money ladies, but you will be buying a pretty much timeless style and a piece of designer heaven that will last you years, the colour is classic and will go with absolutely anything.

Slippery when wet!

Ok ladies, you may have noticed the very recent wet look leggings trend, with many celebs sporting the look such as Victoria Beckham & Rihanna, i think you either love it or hate it, i personally think it’s a really cool look if worn the right way, wear them the wrong way and you could look like a aged 80’s rocker or a sex shop worker!

The trick is, to wear them with a long enough top, something that goes way past your bum is great as this way you won’t be seeing too much of the leggings, you could also try wearing with a smart structured dress ala Victoria Beckham, for a more classy look.

I really liked a lot of the pieces from Peter Jensen’s SS09 collection, i love the very cheeky waistcoat (top) although probably not advisable if you have very large boobs, and i just love the red leopard print skirt (centre) with the red coat and body con takes a different turn in this sexy grey marl t-shirt/dress. hopefully i will go to his AW09 show in London this Feb, so will be able to report on the show first hand.

Gap have got a great sale on at the moment, and this cute little dress from their limited edition European collection is now only $29.99, now even if this was $100 i would be encouraging you to buy it as it is a real investment buy, the perfect little black dress that can be worn casual with flats and a fitted t-shirt underneath or dressed up for work or a nigh out, so for it to only be $29.99 is an amazing bargain, let me tell you ladies, it will probably be the best $29.99 you’ll ever spend.
