Featuring: Nella Vetrina Bathroom Vanities

Thursday, October 9th, 2008

Nella Ventrina in Italy designs bathroom vanities that are unique and gorgeous! I don’t often come across such beautiful bathroom furniture. I really like the way they are displayed in these rooms especially the ones with the very large mirrors and top-mount sinks. I also really like the balance of traditional elements with modern style. These vanities really inspire me to add some glam to my plain wood cabinetry. I would think wallpaper might do it but I don’t how well that would hold up to the water. Any body have any suggestions?

We have SUCH similar taste. I love the vanity on the top right. A Windex nightmare for an OCD like me…(but who are we kidding.. the help can take care of that ;)

Ohh, these are exquisite bathrooms. Ones you would want the perfect slippers and robe to match! I don’t know how to ward against moisture I’m afraid! If you find out, let us know!

I think I’ve watched The Rachel Zoe Project, once too often. My first thought when I saw these photos was “I die!”

YES! wallpaper or stenciling would work! Rough up the surface with a bit of sandpaper, nothing serious, put on wallpaper and then a couple coats of waterbased poly in flat, satin or gloss. If the wallapaer in vinyl don’t worry about it. Think about it: bathrooms are wallpaper and do fine and very little water gets down the sides on a vanity. You cld also use stencils, once again sand suface a bit and make it smooth and then stencil and poly

Thanks Catherine. You have a good point. Hopefully I will have a chance to try it out.
