Welcome back! I hope you all had a warm, cozy Thanksgiving! Here’s a recap of what went down.
Old friends were reunited in New York City this weekend when the Victoria and David Beckham arrived in town to catch Katie Holmes on Broadway. Both families spent the holidays together with a carriage ride through Central Park - even Tom Cruise’s adopted kids with Nicole Kidman went along.
Excited ‘NSync fans are crossing their fingers and hoping for a future reunion after Lance Bass (who came in third place on Dancing with the Stars) recently said that “it’s a definite possibility.”
I’m officially declaring it Britney Spears Week. Her MTV documentary For the Record kicked it off last night. Britney also delivered a string of performances in Europe, including “Womanizer” on X Factor, which is Simon Cowell’s American Idol-esque show in London (and where Leona Lewis shot to fame). In fact, the harsh judge gave the gorgeous Brit a standing ovation.
He later told Ryan Seacrest that he would love for Britney to perform on American Idol next year: ”I would literally have her on my show every week for the next 10 years.” Wow, this must be the highest praise Simon has ever given.
Don’t forget to join in the festivities on Good Morning America tomorrow morning and help Britney celebrate her 27th birthday and the release of the much anticipated Circus.

Get ready to meet a whole new side of Posh and Becks.
Stan Lee, the creator behind Spiderman and The Fantastic Four, is looking to turn the power couple into a superhero comic.
“They’re great looking, talented and colorful. Now here’s the exciting part: Just imagine how cool they’d be in a humorous, good-natured show that depicts them as—you guessed it—superheroes,” he told Access Hollywood.
And it would be pretty darn cool, don’t ya think? Victoria already looks supernatural with her teeny waist and big eyes - a bit Animesque… As for David, I’m sure he would look tasty no matter what.
Now what do you think their superpowers will be?

While the decline of Wall Street and the stock market capture headlines across the country today and this past weekend, get your fix of more frivolous-camera-smashing news right here.
Rewind back to Saturday for the season premiere of SNL with host Michael Phelps. And it’s official: the Olympian shouldn’t quit his day job. Tina Fey stole the show with her perfect Palin skit. And shout-out to Amy Poehler for portraying Hillary Clinton spot on!
MTV staple TRL is ending its 10 year run in November. I’m sorry it’s over, but it makes sense. Who watched after like 2002 anyways? The network says they are trying to recruit countdown favorites like Britney, The Backstreet Boys, Justin and N’SYNC, Eminem, and others for the finale celebration.
Speaking of the Britster (sorry, I can’t help it), the mom threw her boys a joint birthday party this weekend with an A-list guest list. According to E! News, Sean Preston and Jayden’s newborn cousin Maddie made an appearance along with Gwen Stefani and Kingston, and Jenny McCarthy with son Evan.
It must have been a weekend of celeb baby birthdays. After Gwen and Kingston partied with Brit’s offspring, they headed over to Heidi Klum’s bash for son Henry. Victoria Beckham and Debra Messing also brought their little ones to the costumed affair.
Brad and Angelina donated $2 million from their Jolie-Pitt Foundation to the Global Health Committee for the establishment of a center to aid diseased children in Ethiopia. The center will be named after Zahara, who was adopted from the African country over two years ago. It’s probably acts like this that inspired Guinness World Records to name them Most Powerful Actor and Actress this year. No surprise there.
Happy Monday!

Everyone knows I love Victoria Beckham. I love her style, her accent, her sense of humor, her husband…
But I was not thrilled when I was perusing photos of the Marc Jacobs Spring 2009 fashion show and saw Victoria’s new haircut. Sure, the pixie cut worked for Halle Berry and Sharon Stone, but Posh Spice should really stick to her signature cropped coif. I hope it grows on me.
She must be feeling adventurous lately. In addition to showing off a new do, Posh also debuted a high-end dress line at New York’s Fashion Week. The pieces are actually quite beautiful - very feminine and classic, yet body conscious. In short, exactly what you would picture Posh Spice to wear. See the whole spring collection here.
Now as for all the rumors that Victoria is anorexic and only eats lettuce, digest this: she’s opening up a restaurant in L.A. with celeb chef pal Gordon Ramsay (of Hell’s Kitchen). The menu? Why, Brit specialities like fish ‘n chips, bangers ‘n mash, and pudding, mate! Cheerio!

In the spirit of the Olympics, let’s tie in celebrity with the famed games. I’m talking Hollywood celebrity, not Michael Phelps celebrity. Though I wouldn’t mind talking about the men’s swim team, but I digress…
Nicole Kidman called the Australian men’s sailing team to offer words of luck and encouragement before their race, only to be sent to voicemail by the receiver, team member Malcolm Page.
“I ended up returning her call. She was very happy,” Page said. “She was very surprised that we do have a tradition of naming our boats after her movies and she’s just really stoked to be part of a team.”
The Aussie and his partner named their boat The Australian after Nic’s upcoming movie. Previous boats were named Days of Thunder and Dead Calm. Hey, where’s Moulin Rouge? Anyway, the team won gold so seems like the charmed call worked.
David Beckham will make a “surprise” appearance during the closing ceremony festivities this Sunday in Beijing. A special performance will also commemorate the official handover of the Olympics to London for 2012. Leona Lewis is reported to sing a duet with a former Led Zeppelin guitarist. Wonder if there will be a Posh sighting…?
What a happenin’ weekend in Hollywood!

- Katie Holmes is back in V. Becks’ life, helping the Spice Girl celebrate her birthday at a super star-studded dinner (Elton, Gwen, Eva, Kate Becks, Heidi, Will and Jada). Mrs. Cruise also feted the second birthday of baby Suri on Friday.
- Owen Wilson was by Kate Hudson’s side as she rang in her 29th birthday in Miami.
- Other lovebirds celebrating a birthday were Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo. Jess sang and fed Tony cake for his 28th.
- Not so happy couple news: Kanye and his fiancé Alexis have broken off their engagement though they remain friends.
- LiLo was spotted sipping vodka cocktails in New York City. No comment.
- Britney is in talks to do more episodes of “How I Met Your Mother,” though nothing has been finalized yet.
- Justin Timberlake and John Mayer both attended the memorial service for Cameron Diaz’s late father on Sunday.
And there you have it: a weekend recap in less than 150 words!

Wishing a very posh birthday to Victoria Beckham!!

Lighten up, Vic - don’t worry, 34 is the new 24. Here’s to many more years of color-coordinated outfits, Hermes bags, and high heels!

Dear Katie Holmes,
Your pal Victoria Beckham has been acting awfully chummy with a few other A-listers recently.
First, she had birthday parties for Brooklyn and Cruz earlier this month and you were a no-show. Her new friend from Project Runway, Heidi Klum, and her daughter came, and so did Eva Longoria Parker. She missed you and Suri, and your other celeb couple friends, Will and Jada. And you two really must go shopping soon. Posh hit up Rodeo Drive with Eva last week to check out the new spring designer collections. She and David also had a lovely dinner at STK with fellow Brits Kate Beckinsale and her hubby, Len Wiseman, this weekend.
Then yesterday, Vic and the boys celebrated Easter with Kate, Len, and their daughter at the Getty Center Museum. I hate to say it, Katie, but I think Kate is rivaling you on the best-dressed moms list (after Posh, of course). There is a new Becks in Victoria’s life, so you better swoop back in and resume the position of BFF!
XOXO

Say it ain’t so! OK! magazine and MSNBC report that the Beckhams want to move back to England. An insider tells OK! that their transition was not as smooth as they anticipated. I guess that welcome party that Tom and Katie threw kinda jinxed things.

David’s overhyped contract with the LA Galaxy turned out to be just that…overhyped. He was benched for much of the season due to several injuries. Though the Spice Girls reunion tour was a huge succes, Victoria’s denim line, dVb, did not meet sales expectations. However, the three little Beckhams seem to be getting along fine with their new friends. At eldest son Brooklyn’s birthday party last week, his A-list guests included Eva Longoria and Heidi Klum + kids.

Luckily, the Becks reps deny the rumors. And it makes sense. Posh is reportedly starring in her own fashion-theme reality television star on FOX. British Marie Claire reports that it will involve the Spice Mama shaking up things in less stylish towns. If it’s anything like her one-hour special from last year then it’s sure to be “may-juh,” dahling.
It’s just a little homesickness, Posh and Becks - please don’t move back!
