Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have made it official: the publicity-loving couple eloped last Thursday. Just when you think they weren’t capable of doing anything away from the staged paparazzi and cameras.

The Hills stars told their friends that they were heading south of the border to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for a “romantic getaway,” but did not allude to a wedding though there was speculation.

An (pre-planned?) UsWeekly cover today confirms the early reports, so it’s really not that much of a surprise wedding - gee, they waited four days to tell the press. And they chose the top selling tabloid, suspicious, no?

Speidi have been engaged since 2007, though Heidi temporarily broke it off last December.

Yesterday, the American Music Awards celebrated a year of great music with star-studded performances and medleys from Rihanna, Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Annie Lennox, Kanye West, Leona Lewis, Pink, Sarah McLachlan, and many more.

Miley Cyrus celebrated her sweet 16 backstage with celeb pals - wait, didn’t the deep-voiced starlet have a ginormous birthday party, like, a month ago?

Justin Timberlake was the much-hyped “surprise” cameo, which was rumored to be his ex Britney Spears - don’t get me wrong; I love JT, but he’s hardly a surprise after his plethora of recent appearances.

It’s official - Paris and Benji are finished. Shocked? Neither am I. 

As reported earlier this week, Paris Hilton was spotted partying with ex-bf Stavros Niarchos in Miami this weekend sans Benji Madden, her beau of 9 months. After her return to L.A., the couple hung out at separate clubs; Benji was seen with Nicole Richie, Paris’s supposed best friend and his twin brother’s girlfriend. Is somebody taking sides already?

On Wednesday, Paris’s rep told E! that “they’re still together… there is no breakup.”

Hours later, a contestant from Paris’s reality TV show My New BFF accidentally (or not) blabbed that the socialite and rocker did break up, but not because of Stavros or infidelity. 

Later, the same rep confirmed to the AP that they did split but will “remain very good friends.” Blah blah.

Reasons as to why the once surgically-attached duo are no longer vary, depending on who you believe. Some say that Benji was too controlling and others simply attribute the split to natural differences. Either way, Paris is more fun single!

As Paris Hilton partied in Miami Beach this weekend, did she find time to reconnect with an old flame?

Yes, according to these images, Paris was spotted hanging out with Greek heir Stavros Niarchos after the Victoria’s Secret fashion show Saturday night. 

“They slipped in secretly together holding hands very, very early in the morning,” an eyewitness blabs to OK! magazine. “They were cuddling and whispering together all night. Stavros was making Paris laugh — She couldn’t stop smiling when he was around and they were dancing together very closely.” 

Another source refutes the claim to E! News: ”They didn’t come together or leave together. They didn’t make out at all!”

Of course, none of this would be going down if boyfriend Benji Madden were around.

Ahh! I’m so excited and I just can’t hide it! 

Adorable couple Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling have seemingly reunited this week. McGosling broke up last year after dating for three years since their hit film The Notebook. 

They were seen together again last month when Rachel showed up to support Ryan’s DJ debut at a Hollywood club. This week the duo were also spotted having dinner with friends in Toronto earlier this week. The above photo was then snapped yesterday as they shared breakfast and kisses together. Aww!

If you believe UsWeekly, Kate Hudson and Lance Armstrong have gone to Splitsville. 

After an intense two month courtship which involved dinners in Austin, make-out sessions on the tennis court, and lunch with Goldie, seems like the fun is over.

The reason is still unclear and differs depending on who you believe. An insider tells Us that the relationship just played its course: ”There was no drama or ugliness - they just decided to end things. There is no hatred, just sadness.”

Meanwhile, the gossipy New York Post says that the “couple’s constant bickering and their travel schedules drove them apart” and eventually led to a “big blowout.”

Well, whatever, I was rooting for Owen Wilson anyways.

Anne Hathaway has split from her legally challenged beau after dating for four years, according to various media outlets. There has been no official confirmation from the Anne’s camp yet, but a close family source insists it’s over. The rumors kicked into high gear when she walked the red carpet for her film Get Smart solo. 

Some say it’s about time for the 25-year-old actress to chuck Raffaello Follieri. The Italian businessman has recently thrust his famous girlfriend into the negative spotlight again when he came under investigation by the New York State Attorney General for having not filed IRS forms for his charity foundation. 

It wasn’t the first financial trouble he’s gotten into either. E! Online exclusively obtained documents from the New York State Supreme Court stating that Follieri owes American Express Bank nearly half a million as of last week. Anne’s ex also first made his own headline back in April when it was reported that he bounced a $215,000 check and failing to pay his public relations firm. 

Well, that’s not smart. 

A picture’s worth a thousand words, huh. Rumors have swirled around the scarily inseparable blond duo for a while now that they are, ahem, more than just BFF.

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson were doing what they do best - partyin’ - aboard P. Diddy’s yacht in Cannes last night, where the above photograph was snapped. A source says they held hands all night and were acting “affectionate.”

The pals have been attached at the hip since last year (remember when Linds fell asleep in Sam’s car). LL is often seen at the DJ’s side at her gigs, and even created a Facebook page with the name “Lindsay Ronson.” It does have a ring to it.

Ding dong!  Jessica Alba married her beau of three years, Cash Warren, yesterday. Her rep did not reveal any other details, but we hear that they simply married at the Beverly Hills courthouse (per People mag). No fuss or themed wedding for these two. The couple is expecting a baby girl this summer.

Honestly, who can keep up with celebrities’ love lives? 

After Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson broke it off (again), rumors are swirling that People’s most beautiful has caught the eye of Wilson’s pal Lance Armstrong. 

The duo was spotted together three nights in a row this weekend, first in New York City then chowing down in Austin. A witness only commented “they looked like they were having fun.” Perhaps Kate is up for a role in the movie about Lance’s life? I would say Mr. Tour de France is quite the lucky bachelor…Sheryl Crow (and former Owen fling), Tory Burch, Ashley Olsen, Kate Hudson?

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are officially mister and missus, while older sis Jessica was present at the Alice-in-Wonderland themed nuptials with very much on-boyfriend, Tony Romo. Take that, break-up rumors!

Siiigh. After declaring to the world that he was her “future husband,” Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo have reportedly split up. According to Us Weekly, Tony broke it off with Jessica because she is torn up over ex John Mayer’s current fling with Jennifer Aniston.

Meanwhile, young sis Ashlee is prepping for her wedding to Pete Wentz this Saturday (why the rush?). Delivery trucks and crews have been spotted pitching white tents in her parent’s backyard. UsWeekly also reports that meddling dad Joe has “begged” Tony to attend the wedding, though they are unsure if Tony has agreed. I just hope Jess can still tend to her maid-of-honor duties!

In other couple news: Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson are off again… The onscreen parents of Blake Lively and Penn Badgely have confirmed their romance… Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi will tie the knot now that it is legal in California… Shania Twain and her husband of 14 years have separated.
